International Steampunk Day 2024

Time For A Free Book!

Happy International Steampunk day everyone!

International Steampunk Day

Well, the 14th of June is here again, and it’s another Interntional Steampunk Day. I hope you are all celerbating in whatever way you see fit. Me I’ve got covid (or rather I’ve had covid but am coming down the other side) so my celebrations are muted at best. Maybe I’ll pop down the shops and get some doughnuts, but I might need a bit of a lie down after.

Thankfully I already had this year’s offering sorted before I got ill, so all I had to do was hit publish and it was done.

The Hammersmyth Tales is a collection of short stories featuring Dexter the mechanical cat, Nomko the engineer, everyone’s favourite muscle for hire Agnes Goodenough, and the leg-chair bound Tyneside detective Inspector Lassiter. It’s available now to download for free via Smashwords, and will be available free on Amazon as soon as I can get them to agree to it. For the moment it’s 77p.

If you’ve read my other two books this is an opportunity to find out more about the characters you know and love. If you haven’t yet but want to know what my stories are all about this is your chance to dip your toe in the water. Either way it’s definitely worth checking out (of course I would say that wouldn’t I? I wrote the thing, lol).

If you’re thinking of giving it a go I’d encourage you to download it as soon as you can, so that the flurry of activity gooses the alogirthm and gets some more visibility. It’s only available as an ebook because that allows me to give it away for free. If you haven’t got a tablet, e-readers are available for desktop and mobile devices.

And there we have it. A quick visit from me to keep you up to date on everything. I hope you enjoy the book. As always I appreciate your support, and I wsih you all the best on this the International Day of Steampunk 2024!

Catch you at the end of the month.

Toodle-pip for now.
